  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 6 oz shredded dill havarti cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped dill pickle slices (patted dry)
  • 2 pats salted butter
  • handful of dill pickle potato chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping and patting the dill pickles dry.
  2. Assemble the sandwich by layering half of the cheese on one slice of bread, adding the chopped pickles, then topping with the remaining cheese and the other slice of bread.
  3. Butter the outside of the sandwich generously. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-low heat and cook the sandwich until golden brown on both sides and the cheese has melted completely.
  4. Carefully remove from heat, open the sandwich, and add a handful of dill pickle potato chips inside before slicing in half.
