  5. Gradually add dry ingredients until just mixed—avoid overmixing.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto parchment-lined sheets; refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  7. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on racks and sprinkle with sparkling sugar while warm.
