  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 eggs (1 for the dough & 1 for brushing)
  • 13 oz Nutella
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/22 tablespoons milk for glaze

Instructions

  1. In an oven-proof bowl, combine milk and butter. Microwave until melted and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, mix flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add the warm milk mixture and 1 egg; mix on low speed for about 5 minutes.
  3. Shape the dough into a ball and let it rise in a greased bowl covered with plastic wrap for about 30-40 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough, spread Nutella evenly over it, roll tightly into a log, then cut into pieces and place in a greased baking dish. Let them rest again for an hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush the rolls with remaining egg and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
