  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped basil
  • 24 oz jar marinara sauce
  • 15 oz jar Alfredo sauce
  • 1 box oven-ready lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shredded Italian-blend cheese
  • 16 oz fresh mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, parmesan cheese, parsley, and basil until well blended.
  4. In a baking pan, spread a layer of marinara sauce; place three lasagna noodles on top.
  5. Layer with ricotta mixture, browned beef, marinara or Alfredo sauce, and shredded cheese. Repeat layers twice more.
  6. Finish with three noodles topped with marinara sauce; cover tightly with foil.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes; then remove foil and add mozzarella slices on top.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool for 20-25 minutes before slicing and serving.
