Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 and 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 and 1/4 teaspoons Platinum Yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (for coating)
  • 1 and 1/4 cups granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let it bubble for about 5 minutes.
  2. Mix in eggs, melted butter, salt, and one cup of flour. Gradually add the remaining flour until the dough pulls away from the sides.
  3. Knead the dough until smooth (about 5-7 minutes), then let it rise in a greased bowl for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Prepare a Bundt pan by greasing it well. Roll dough into small balls; dip in melted butter followed by cinnamon-sugar before placing them in the pan.
  5. Let the filled pan rest for 20 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (177°C). Pour remaining butter mixed with brown sugar over the top.
  6. Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly before inverting onto a plate.
