  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add low-sodium beef broth and Italian seasoning to the skillet; let it simmer for about 5 minutes to combine flavors.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and allow it to simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Gently fold in the cooked pasta shells until well-coated with the creamy beef sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed.
