Instructions

  1. Cream together softened butter and granulated sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine this dry mix with the wet ingredients until fully incorporated.
  3. Roll the dough into a rectangle about ¼-inch thick between two sheets of parchment paper.
