Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry and rub them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. For extra flavor (optional), sear the chicken in a skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and thyme until combined.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken in a greased baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over it.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20–25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove foil during the last 5 minutes to brown the top.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving garnished with fresh parsley.
